In 2005 I had a contract as Commissioning Editor for publishing house Redemptorist Publications,
which involved overseeing the publication of several books, magazine-format and weekly A4 publications.
I have worked as a freelance journalist, as well as producing press releases for, among others,
the Lake District National Park Authority.
Before turning to full-time writing my background was in the broadcast media, and included writing and
developing documentary ideas for television and radio.
I hold a BA in English, History and Politics (2:1, University of Buckingham) and an MA in Creative Writing
(University of Plymouth).
